Recently, I’ve been getting a lot of questions on how to handle business in China. I have my own style, however, smart business is about methodology. There are some rules I follow to solve problems with quality, remove the root cause and prevent recurrence of the same or similar issues:
- Create a team
- Describe the problem
- Implement and verify containment action
- Identify the root cause
- Formulate and verify corrective actions
- Correct the problem and confirm the effects
- Prevent recurrence and standardization
- Congratulate the team
I know this may sound silly, but it does enhance the quality of the products and gives customers confidence.
