Create Custom PCB from Scratch
Including Casing & Assembly

All-in-1 Printed Circuit Board (PCBA) Manufacturing Services

Want to make custom PCB but unsure where to begin?

We help companies of any size!

Our PCB Production Package is made for anyone at any stage in the printed circuit board manufacturing process. Whether you already have your Gerber files and specifications ready or you just know the functionality you want, we can help with anything from concept design to mass production. As your electronics and PCB supplier, we can also arrange the casing and assembly for the entire device if you want. Related injection molds and other parts are no problem to arrange around the PCB you need.

There are many aspects and steps involved in making custom PCB from scratch. From functionality and concept to technical design files, component selection, prototyping and final assembly, we cover it all and can take your individual needs into consideration. We are doing more than most PCB manufacturing companies by offering an all-in-one solution from initial concept to final mass production. However, we can also help you if you simply need the PCB produced that is needed in product that you’re planning to assemble elsewhere. Save time and money by working with us–a provenprinted circuit board manufacturer.

We Made Custom Circuit Boards For

Why our PCB Production Package?

Work with a reliable PCB manufacturing and assembly company save time and cost!

Whether you have experience with PCB production or not, we can help and work with you. You don’t need to know much about printed circuit boards to get started. Simply describing us the application along with product details is often sufficient for us to get started. If the PCB is part of straightforward consumer electronics, just draw the device or send us a reference product along with some functionality explanations. Then our engineers can check and we can usually just ask relevant questions so that we are able to fulfill your requirements.

If you have the PCB design files, the coordination process is naturally simple. We can still make changes or update your files if necessary, of course. If you don’t have any professional files yet, we usually start with a concept file to make sure we understand the project requirements. Based on that, we will proceed with the actual PCB design and prototyping. Whether surface mount technology (SMT) or through-hole (TH), you can advise or we can make recommendations. Related parts of the product, such as plastic casing or similar, can also be arranged and included. You will get the concept and design files to that they don’t just cover the PCB production aspects but also CAD files of the overall product. PCBA (includes all the electronic components on the board) is the minimum we usually do.

How You Get Your PCB & Product (If Needed)

1. Develop a Concept

The basis for creating great custom PCB is to outline and define its functionality and place in the overall product exactly. A lot of effort and time in the technical development process can be saved when this first PCB manufacturing step is done diligently. Basic dimensions and functionality should very clear from the beginning.

2. CAD File Creation

The custom printed circuit board has to have a dedicated and exactly fitting space in your product. If you don’t have the CAD files for the overall product yet, the design files for the overall product should be made. This also help with the thinking through the customer experience and product handling. These files are also the basis for making the casing.

3. Make the Printed Circuit Board (PCB)

At the heart of the PCB manufacturing is naturally the PCB design itself. Gerber or ODB files define each layer of the PCB. The number of layers depends on the functionality. For the PCB components, surface mount technology (SMT) or through-hole (TH) can be applied. A functional diagram can also be very useful to define the PCB exactly beforehand. You will get the original files.

4. Get the PCB Prototype

For testing, debugging and approval of the PCB, it’s important to make a few samples. PCB boards can be a bit tricky to develop and iterating the functionality is often necessary, since it’s not only the hardware but also the coding and flashing of the PCB that matters. We can make samples only for the PCB itself or for the entire product–depending on your needs and timeline.

5. Confirm the Bill of Materials (BOM)

After the printed circuit board and potentially the overall product are approved, the final parts and specifications have to outlined for mass production and costing purposes. This list should be reviewed to find potentially cheaper PCB components as well as identifying production bottlenecks beforehand. Packaging and certifications are also considered.

6. Start Mass Production with QC

Last but not least, the production line for your custom PCB can be set up. We do the PCB manufacturing and product assembly at our own facility to exercise complete control over the production process. We can accommodate most PCB manufacturing and assembly needs you might have and check every PCB board for functionality, including a full QC after each main step and at the end of each production line. We deliver the final product or the sub-assembly to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Exactly. We have customers that produce the main product themselves and we just provide the PCB components to and help with the development work as needed. At the same time, we also do plastics injection molding and more, so that we can also do most devices completely ourselves. Sometimes we have clients that deliver certain special parts to us that we use for the product assembly. PCB manufacturing is only part of what we do and we can gladly make the entire product for you including custom packaging and more. Custom printed circuit boards are at the center of electronics manufacturing and the remaining aspects can usually easily be arranged, respectively we procure the other parts for your device. Just contact us and we can discuss your individual needs.

We usually sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) right before any project details are discussed. You can also gladly send your own NDA or confidentiality agreement (CA) to us. The protection of your IPR is important to us and we make sure that is stays protected. Custom printed circuit boards design often involve a lot of development work on your and/or ours side and we have no interest in sharing that with anyone. We are a pure OEM PCB manufacturer and don’t/have never produced our own products. Our goal is to get in a long-term work relationship with you and to build trust. Please let us know if you have any particular concerns from your PCB manufacturing experience before or if you are just getting started.

As most PCB manufacturers, we do our production mainly is Asia, namely China, Taiwan and the Philippines. The reason is not mainly related to cost, but supply chains for printed circuit boards and their components are much better integrated here than in Western countries. Components usually come from here and related aspects such as plastic or metal manufacturing, especially of smaller quantities, are much easier to conduct here. Furthermore, the availability and experience of PCB manufacturing and electronics prototyping knowhow is often better here. It’s usually only worth it for special needs or highly automated and mature production lines to go to Europe or the US.

Of course not. We do everything step by step and you can naturally take the PCB design made with us elsewhere. However, our goal is always that you do the production and assembly with us as your electronics manufacturer as well. We hope that we can convince you to do that with the quality of our development work. The IP still lies with you for everything that you develop with us also if you should decide against working with us. As your PCB supplier, we will try our best to show you that it’s the best and easiest solution to do the entire project with us.

It’s impossible to state a general minimum order quantity (MOQ) since it really depends on your specific PCB manufacturing and overall product needs. We bundle many small orders and try our best to make low volume PCB production work as good as possible, but there are simply limitations for the fix cost of the development effort and material or PCB component minimums that we face when get those from our suppliers. Generally speaking, we recommend to make at least 5,000 printed circuit boards. Another aspect here are often injection molding aspects for the cases. Injection molds are expensive to set up, but then it’s cheap to produce the plastic parts. This means that it often doesn’t make economic sense to produce very few if you don’t have a really high value item. Another rule is also the higher the value of your product is the lower the order quantity can be due to the fix cost. Please contact us and we can go over your custom PCB product idea. We as your printed circuit board manufacturer will definitely try to make it possible, since we understand that low volume is often necessary for new products or for people just getting started.
