What brands ask before they start.
We handle almost any CAD or 3D format. We prefer neutral formats, mainly STP, and also provide DXF, STL or IGS. DWG, SLDPRT and PRT are limited to their software. You need no CAD software. We can send screenshots with dimensions and 3D prints for you to check.
Yes. You can start at any point. We edit existing designs. If you only have an idea, draw it by hand or send photos, links or a sample with instructions.
Yes. The design files are your intellectual property. They follow established industry standards, so another manufacturer can work with them.
Steel molds have no single minimum. It depends on the product's sales price. The total usually runs from several hundred to a few thousand units. Blow molds have a minimum of 10,000 units. Temporary aluminum molds are available for short runs and testing before steel tooling.
Yes. 3D printing is the best option for checking CAD files and for development. It can provide a few dozen pieces for testing. Material options, colors and tolerances are more limited than with molds made for mass production.
